Ive got that ... YES it should stabalise.

Its a common condition, the lower 4 joints on my back are knackered, between the ages 30-50 is when they degenerate, after that age they should fuse and the pain should lessen, though your mobility will be slightly less.

Most people at work i know have this problem to some extent, thats why millions of people have time off work each year.

Keep active though, keep strong stomach muscles, and it shouldn't control your life.

Surgery is a possibility if it becomes unbearable, in fact there are a few options, but doctors dont like doing them cos it can cause serious complications because of the spinal cord.

Not sure what this.I have a fractured vertebrae and the doctors don't even know why.Maybe Ive got this lumbar degeneration.Sorry I cant help.

I think the work degenerative gives the answer away a bit.

im sorry but NO, i had it and mine turned into spinal stenoses, my spine in rotting, they say surgery wont help either.

nope...it's degenrative, and usually it means that it will get worse with time
