well it depends on the total calories you consume. Yes eating lots of smaller meals a day is great for boosting metabolism, but only to a certain point. if your body is not getting enough food it will slow down its metabolism regardless. you need to find a balance. also don't decrease the amount of calories you consume each day to fast, as this will also cause your metabolism to slow down. gradually decrease the amount of calories you consume.

If you eat less calories per day, you will lower your metabolism. It will take about 2 days for the change to happen. After that time, whatever you eat will be potentially stored as fat since your body will be in a survival mode when you deprive it for too long.

ingesting smaller nutrition oftentimes will help. additionally, a acquaintances of mine had the quickest metabolism ever, till she broke a bunch of bones in her leg, and basically had to stay in mattress for a month and basically ate purely junk with the aid of fact of each and all the candy and cupcakes we introduced her. She gained 25 pounds, and now her metabolism is nearly a classic individual's. thankfully, like I mentioned she had the quickest metabolism ever, so the extra suitable weight seems wonderful and he or she gained the pounds in each and all the nicely suited places... some people have each and all the success... i could finally end up finding like a potato if i stayed in mattress for a month... Haa... nicely, sturdy success!

make sure u eat the same amount of food everytime; ur body adjust to it.. if u suddenly eat a lot, then it will only metabolize what it is used to.. thats when u get fat. if u want to adjust, take it slowly ... usually takes 2 weeks to adjust.
better to eat bits, just so not to make u hungry. bec the more u dont eat, the more u get fat. set a sked, say this amt of food for bfast, lunch and dinner.. never skip a meal, just control it. and eat healthy.
