If you are both attracted to each other and want to date - then date! I am 42 and my partner is 31. When I was 29 I dated a 19 year old there's nothing 'pervy' unless one party is unaware of the attraction from the other - or something is forced upon someone.

I am and I have. Women of my own age don't get attracted to me, younger women do. Normally I stay away but sometimes things happen. I think it can work but only if the girl is very mature.
Since I was at school (when an older girl seduced me lol) all 4 of my relationships (which is what you are getting at right? meaning no one-offs) have been with women younger. They all lasted more than 3 months and a few lasted a couple of years.
Look at it how you want but as I am single right now that would suggest it hasn't worked for me. Maybe it would be the same if they were older though, who knows?
In essence, yes I would date a 19 yr old again but no I wouldn't look for someone that young, it would have to just happen.

I think that most of the men, if they were totally honest, would want to screw a 19 year old, but I don't think a 19 year old would hold a man's intellectual interest for very long...

No disrepect to you if you are 19, but I know what I was like at 19, I'm nearly 31 now... and to be honest I was a nitwit.... I dated a 29 year old guy, and couldn't keep his interest.... as sexually I was inexperienced and in life I was too....

That being said, sometimes it does work for a few people... I don't know of any though.

When I was 19, I had a 34 year old boyfriend. So the age thing is not completely out there. Now I'm 21 and my fiance is 33, and I couldn't be happier. Age doesn't really matter (as long as both are consenting adults). All that really matters is that the people are happy with each other, and comfortable with the age difference themselves.

No way, much as she is an adult, the thoughts of a 19yr old gal may not be so mature. What is a big deal for her may not be a big deal for u and she may not be able to understand that. Trust me, am a gal n when i was 19, my thoughts were far too young though one may argue that that was me. If u really love her, dont get into serious relationship until she is at least 22 or above

I like a guy that was that much older than me and things happened a few times. I think he had a problem with the age gap, but it is something that has never bothered me. probably because my mum was 10 yrs older than my dad, and my grandad was 20 odd years older than my nan!! They were very happy together.

I wouldn't go looking for an older man, as there are a lot of issues involved, it would have to be someone really special.

Hell yeah, i would definately do that. Women mature very fast so at 19 she is mostly mature to be in a relationship with a man aged 31.

I don't see a problem. Society puts issues where there shouldn't be. Sure threre's a 12 year age difference physically, but if she is mature enough and knows what she is getting herself into (likewise for him) then I see no harm.

Although the relationship is not doomed to fail, be prepared for her to find someone closer to her own age when he starts to show signs of getting older otherwise enjoy it while it lasts.

Good Luck

every 31 year old man wants to date a 19 year old girl, but that dosen't make it ok. The question should be 'if you were a 19year old girl, would you date a 31 year old man?'
