I kinda like this emo girl as she is labled, but I'm slowly becoming aware that she and who group of friends hate me because I'm seemingly the preppy jock kid who wheres A&F or hollister. I feel like if she actually got to know me she would get to know me as the guy who isn't a prep but the side of me that loves punk and ska shows but I honestly don't thing she would even give me a chance.

I honestly don't act like a prep or a jock infront of anyone and they just presume since I look like one I must act like one I meen I've walked past her group a few times and said hi to her she just scowls at me. not to mention I've told people I like her and I've been totally ridiculed for it

Its ok, im an emo girl and my bf is tottaly far from it, you just have to show her and her friends that your not the preppy jock they think you are show her a side of you that she hasnt seen and you cant be afriad to talk to her in front of your friends cause maybe thats why she and her friends dont like you, if you act all jock-ish w/ your friends and then go up to her and be all cool and nice shell just keep dissen you,so act around her as youed act around your friends .

I think I answered this question before... Why dont' you try talking to her in private. That way she can let her guard down about you and you can show her what a great guy you really are, labels aside. And when you talk to her, try not to wear A&F and your so called "preppy jock" clothing. I know that really isn't being true to yourself, but you gotta take baby steps with a girl who has the potential to hate you. Good luck!!!
