Sinceable answer: since there is no proof that there ever was an Adam and Eve, Adam and Steve, or Anna and Eve what differance could it possibly make whether or not they had a navel?

Biblical answer: Of course didn't you go to sunday school? The little felt Adam and Eve only covered their privates with the fig leaves. Eve was my first crush. She had a hot belly button.

I would guess no - Adam was created out of dust & Eve was created from Adam's rib, so they were not "born" & therefore did not need them.

Although if you look in classical / religious art work they are painted with belly buttons.

I had great fun asking the security guards in the National Gallery why this was the case and then watching their confused faces!!!

The word is navels. And the first human being [of this era]was Manu.
Adam and Eve definitely did not have any buttons on their bellies unless of course they were robots or they'd had the measles, and by the way Eve never feared the measles as she'd Adam.

EVE'S SIDE OF THE STORY

After three weeks in the Garden of Eden, God came to visit Eve. "So,
how's everything going?" inquired God.

"It's all so beautiful, God," she replied. "The sunrises and sunsets are
breathtaking, the smells, the sights -- everything is just wonderful. But
I do have one problem. It's these breasts you've given me. The middle
one pushes the other two out and I'm constantly knocking them with my
arms, catching them on branches and snagging them on bushes. They're
a real pain," reported Eve.

Eve went on to tell God that since many other parts of her body came in
pairs, such as her limbs, eyes, ears, etc., she felt that having only two
breasts might leave her body more symmetrically balanced.

"That's a fair point," replied God, "But it was my first shot at this, you
know.
I gave the animals six breasts, so I figured that you needed only half of
those,
but I see that you're right. I'll fix it up right away."

And God reached down, removed the middle breast and tossed it into the
bushes.

Three weeks passed and God once again visited Eve in the Garden of
Eden."Well, Eve, how's my favorite creation?"

"Just fantastic," she replied, "But for one little oversight on your part.
You
see, all the animals are paired off. The ewe has a ram and the cow has her
bull. All the animals have a mate except me. I feel so alone."

God thought for a moment and said, "You know, Eve, you're right. How
could I have overlooked this? You do need a mate and I'll immediately
create a man from a part of you. Now let'see... where did I put that useless
T1T?"

NO!!! Adam and Eve where formed by a direct act of creation by God, therefore they could not have bellybuttons... This kind of question is immaterial to the actual cosmetic look of our first parents, but becomes an issue when those of the Evolutionist persuasion seek to accredit their unsound theories...
They is a book entitled "Did Adam have a Belly Button" by Ken Ham, you would pick this up quite easily...

This is NOT a good question, you retard... Adam and Eve didn't have belly buttons because they were FICTIONAL CHARACTERS!! They didn't exist!! To ponder whether or not they had belly buttons would be an attempt at intertwining theology and science in a way that will only lead to a paradox, therefore it is useless to ponder this question any farther than that.

No, belly buttons come from an umbilical cord, which feeds the baby and removes waste while in uteri. If someone was never in a uterus, they wouldn't need a belly button. It's possible that they did for aesthetics, though.

Well, that's rather a tough question. Because they wouldn't NEED the bellybuttons, as they only work until birth (i.e.- in the womb) so considering they weren't born, their existance would be retarded. On the other hand, in order to display the full human DNA creation, the belly button may have been on them. Otherwise, where would the bellybutton DNA blueprints be in their children? So, I would have to say yes, they did :D.

No, belly buttons are a direct result of going through normal birth where the umbilical cord is attached. Being first creations there will be no belly buttons.
