now its just that the circadian rythem of your body i.e the natural sllep clock has gone haywire now what you can do really is start doing good exercises in the evening and cool down by having a shower. have your food earlier than usual and then try to sleep one hr ahead and put your alarm clock at two hrs ahead of your wake up time . continue this for 3 days and then again sleep one more ahead of the present time and put your alarm clock 1and half hrs ahead.this way you will be waking up earlier which in turn will make you feel sleepy earlierand remember never take small naps in between till you really need it. get active

I've done that before, and though it does work, it will take a toll on you. I'd say it'd be better to force yourself into going to sleep early (possibly through some Tylenol PM or NyQuil), and then be active the next day. It probably won't have as much of a negative impact on your body and emotions.

if you normall\y go to bed at say 11.30, but you got up at 2.30 today, just start going to bed at that time & get up at 8.00, you,ll fall back into your pattern eventually, good luck.

That can work sometimes as long as you get a good rest.
