Ok so some say that a certain part of the bible explains the way the world will come to an end. Supposedly the end times will be Jews and Christians fighting side by side something like that. Some say theres a bright light (god) and it was all over. Again other theorist say this bright light is the future equivalent of nuclear war.

Not to sound spooky or anything but I have my own theories. Just curious to see what other people think.

Earth could be in better shape right now; and with the existence of nuclear bombs, we could destroy ourselves. I don't think it's hopeless though.

We are now at the end of the period of grace and Armageddon, taking place in Megiddo, is close. This is the battle where good triumphs over evil, at last. The bright light you refer to is the glory of the Lord when he comes to finish the war. Look at the prophecy of endtimes in the Bible (Revelation and Daniel) and you shall see that the end began when Jesus ascended and we are at the finish of it...Matthew 24 will give you insight, also. Yes, we're going to see the end of this earth, but the Lord will provide another for the saints (believers) who will live with him. If you read these that I've mentioned, you will gain great insight into this. Good question.

End of the day is no more near than a few years ago. The doomsday sayers always think that the day is near magnifying a particular event or happening.I am hearing this for the last 40 years and i am now 60 and a living example that the day has never come inspite of a number of predictions in the past

Personally, I think that the book of Revelation was written for the time in which it was written. In other words, the end times have already passed. Most Biblical scholars believe that Revelation was a sort of political satire of the Roman Empire. The end times refers not to the end of the world but to the end of the Roman persecution of Christians.

Iranians certainly subsidized away little from claims that British entered Iranian waters. British marines have been in 'disputed' water which the two Iraq and Iran have not agreed the place precisely is the border line. Iranians will use this for his or her 'propaganda' television production showing how nicely they manage those British marines, instruct their 'confessions' and finally launch them. Lot of Arabs are uneasy approximately means protection stress conflict in Iran and not prepared to assist the U. S., yet Iranians have not got many buddies these days the two. Compare todays conditions with those mentioned at 2 Timothy 3;3 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.
An exact description of today.

I think those who say the end times are upon us are simply dissatisfied with the current state of world affairs, or are trying to get rich selling religious trinkets. Just like those of every generation before them.
