I do agree it all sounds a bit drastic that a loving God can be so severe. But I noticed in the bible, he says that he is a jealous God and does not like us worshipping other false gods. eg. During the world cup everyone looks at the golden cup wishing it was theirs, and it drives all into a frenzy. This is a false god, so I can see why he would say, if you dont follow my commandments, down to hell you go.
Christianity has alot to answer for, wars, death, poverty etc. I have yet to notice a religous leader go hungry! Too much money, and I think that comes from Satan, who does rule this earth, not God. In the end, you can go binge drinking, but think about where you got the financing for it and are you greatful for it?

He doesn't and you are misreading things. I suggest you go back and look again or talk with someone who actually knows about it.
Binge drinking itself isn't wrong, its what you do when you are so pissed that is. You can kill someone or even end up dead yourself. And in case you are not aware of it, there have been numerous things on the telly about binge drinking and what it does lately.
Sure under the devil things would be more *fun* as you put it, but what's the price?
Hell? I don't believe in hell. Jesus died for me and if I beleive that nonsense His death is meaningless and forfeit. But that's a whole 'nother thing.
God does not expect worship every second of the day, He wants you to love Him as He loves you. But I doubt that someone so wrapped up in himself could do that. You like many want instant gratification. So drink yourself to death, or have sex and end up with an incurable form of syphliss, or even aids. Make sure you live fast and die young and make a good looking corpse...oh wait, with all that you probably won't though. oh, well, enjoy.
oh yeah... and as for Christian Rock , I love Newsboys, Phillips, Craig and Dean and Petra just to name a few.

You are totally missing it. 1. when you go before Him you will fall down and like one of the prophets say, "Woe is me for I am undone." He meant this literally, not figuratively. He saw the glory of God and felt he was coming apart because of his own inglorious, self willed, self righteousness until that moment.
2.God is your creator. Not only did He create you but continues to work on you, to hold you together. Think about what we know about matter. A molecule is a bundle of energy called a nucleus being circled by smaller bundles of energy called protons and neutrons. Your mental functions and physical functions continue moment to moment because He will it.
3. He is your provider. The planet rotates giving us our air and night and day. The sun burns at just the right temp and distance to provide our weather patterns and warmth. The plants grow, the fish multiply, the animals multiply to provide us with food. He's given us instruction in how to live with one another.
4. If He wanted to demand your worship you would be bowing any ol' time it crossed His mind. His command is for obedience to a loving father, His will is for our voluntary love toward Him. That's where praise comes in.
But you go ahead on and give all that God deserves to His enemy. That god is dead walking. His doom has been foretold and with everything else that God foretold and came true, I'm believing the only real God.
Your common sense should tell you its wrong to go binge drinking because we hear about those who die binge drinking and we hear about those who become addicted to alcohol and drugs and die a slow sad death.
.....and as for Christian rock, anything Christian leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you have set your heart against God because it constantly reminds you of your position with the Creator.

listen idiot, do you think God needs your worship? No, He isnt this insecure spirit that requires your worship, what He does require is justice mercy and faith, these things are more important to Him than your bowing and scraping, God hates religion, its man made and not from God, religion blinds you to your sin and gives an attitude of superiority that makes you think you can save yourself, you cant. Good works do not save you, religious rites and practices dont save you, only an experiance with Jesus Christ can save you, and not because of what you have done, not because you are a good person, but because of sheer love and grace that He has for you, and i tell you something else, when you do meet Him, you cant help but get on your face, He is so beautiful, loves you unconditionally, forgives, heals, sets you free, you have never known pure joy until you have your salvation confirmed through the Holy Spirit, and when that happens, beleive me, you will get on your knees and thank Him, and even then, He will pick you up and make you stand, because all He wants is a relationship with His children, and as any absent father who are not allowed access to their children will tell you, the joy of being reunited is beyond measure.
One day soon though, all those who scoff and think that the message of the gospel is foolishness, you will be stood before Him, on your knees, asking for forgiveness, and what he will say is, "begone from me, I never knew you."

I am fairly certain that God is imaginary. The concept that he demands that we bow/kneel/worship is all part of humanities desire to be led. It allows us to stop thinking for ourselves. On the assumption that a singular being went to the trouble of creating the universe I very much doubt he would be that concerned as to whether an individual is currently bowing before him or not. Again, its back to not thinking for yourself. As long as you go through some ritual or other action you will be saved. This frees up the tiny little minds of men to go about more important matters such as who to kill next. This decision is often based on who is not performing the same religion based ritual as you are. I mean, back to this all powerful creator - Who really believes he cares! And to your final point, Christian Rock!!!! If God does exist I will bet my mortgage he cant stand that Sh*t.

In the year 2006, the Lord came unto Noah, who was now living in the United States, and said, "Once again, the earth has become wicked and over-populated, and I see the end of all flesh before me.
Build another Ark and save 2 of every living thing along with a few good humans."
He gave Noah the blueprints, saying, "You have 6 months to build the Ark before I will start the unending rain for 40 days and 40 nights."
Six months later, the Lord looked down and saw Noah weeping in his yard - but no Ark.
"Noah!" He roared, "I'm! about to start the rain! Where is the Ark?"
"Forgive me, Lord," begged Noah, "but things have changed. I needed a building permit. I've been arguing with the inspector about the need for a sprinkler system. My neighbors claim that I've violated the neighborhood zoning laws by building the Ark in my yard and exceeding the height limitations. We had to go to the Development Appeal Board for a decision.
Then the Department of Transportation demanded a bond be posted for the future costs of moving power lines and other overhead obstructions, to clear the passage for the Ark's move to the sea. I told them that the sea would be coming to us, but they would hear nothing of it.
Getting the wood was another problem. There's a ban on cutting local trees in order to save the spotted owl. I tried to convince the environmentalists that I needed the wood to save the owls - but no go!
When I started gathering the animals, an animal rights group sued me.
They insisted that I was confining wild animals against their will. They argued the accommodation was too restrictive, and it was cruel and inhumane to put so many animals in a confined space.
Then the EPA ruled that I couldn't build the Ark until they'd conducted an environmental impact study on your proposed flood.
I'm still trying to resolve a complaint with the Human Rights Commission on how many minorities I'm supposed to hire for my building crew.
Immigration and Naturalization is checking the green-card status of most of the people who want to work.
The trades unions say I can't use my sons. They insist I have to hire only Union workers with Ark-building experience.
To make matters worse, the IRS seized all my assets, claiming I'm trying to leave the country illegally with endangered species.
So, forgive me, Lord, but it would take at least 10 years for me to finish this Ark."
Suddenly the skies cleared, the sun began to shine, and a rainbow stretched across the sky. Noah looked up in wonder and asked, "You mean you're not going to destroy the world?"
"No," said the Lord. "The government beat me to it."

You are seeing God as separate from yourself. God is not outside of us we all have the spark of God inside ourselves. The Devil is not outside ourselves either. You do not have to follow others into any special place to follow or speak to or worship God. Follow your inner knowing about God, not the mass control that exists in the name of God.

What kind of idiot are you?
God doesn't say worship me or else..God gave us freewill and if you took that into account we choose to do and worship as we please whoever it may be, be it Satan or God, though considering Lucifer(.i.e. Satan) was thrown out from heaven by God because he was jealous of Gods love for man and the fact that God gave humans freewill and reign over earth proves that a party with Satan would probably end in you being dinner! For satan despises mankind and would have him enslaved given the chance...

Anyone who thinks Christian Rock sucks must be deaf. This must also be the reason you are not hearing God's message clearly? You are of course absolutely welcome to stick to Satan. I'm sure you'll have lots of "fun" together one day. As for me, I'll stick with worshipping God and listening to the greatest Rock ever written.

If God = Love, then it doesn't make sense.
However doesn't mean you've been following the wrong guy, it's likely that something got 'lost in translation', or that the self-appointed messenger twisted the message to his own advantage.
