Its ok to drink beer but don't get drunk. Heres proof from The Scripture, to back up my argument.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11
9 Or don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals,
10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God.
11 Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

See drunkards in verse 10? Also be sure not to cause someone else to sin btw.

No, of course it's not. Personally, I don't drink, but the Bible doesn't prohibit the drinking of alcoholic beverages in excess. However, it does warn against debauchery, which is doing just about anything in excess. Try not to get drunk, and you should be fine. A caveat: if *your* drinking causes someone else to sin, and you know it will, you have a responsibility to not drink in the presence of that person.

The Bible did not say one cannot drink intoxicating drinks, but it does warn about being drunk and debauchery. Paul says all things are permissible, but we must not be mastered by it (1 Cor 6:12)
