Catholics believe that pornography offends against chastity because it perverts the intimate giving of spouses to each other.
It does grave injury to the human dignity of all participants (actors, vendors, and the public), since each one becomes an object of base pleasure and illicit profit for others.
With love in Christ.

Do you consider yourself to be a good person? Most people do. Of all the questions you will ask yourself in life, probably the most important is, Am I good enough to go to Heaven? Let's see if you are good enough...Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we've only looked at three of the Ten Commandments. That's how God sees you. Nothing is hid from His holy eyes. Perhaps you think that God is good, and will therefore overlook your sins. But it is His goodness that will make sure that murderers, rapists, thieves, liars, etc. receive justice. Will you be innocent or guilty on the Day of Judgment? Listen to your conscience. There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. If you die in your sins there is no second chance. God's Law demands justice, and the penalty for sinning against Him is death and Hell. God will give you justice, and you will end up in Hell forever.

WAtching or looking at prono usually leads to other things that are definetely sins, therefore if you view it it is a sin because of the outcome of it. Have you ever heard the saying you will know a tree by its fruits? Think about it the fruits if watching or looking at that stuff is not good. Good luck with finding the wa to reduce your sin. You have to be willing to folow the Lord. You can ask for His asistance and guidance.

I think the "sin" comes more from lust and contributing to an industry that inspires it. Not that I agree with this, but I believe this is the view that most people take regarding sin and porn. As far as degrading women, I have always believed that the people who say that don't think that women have the power to think logically, or the will to make decisions about what they want. To me, that seems more degrading.

Judaism is of the same opinion with you. A 12 months max in a spread of purgatory, and that is once you're somewhat poor. Jews supply up praying for his or her moms and dads after 11 months because you do not choose to intend that they were horrid adequate to warrant the completed 12. :-) yet then we do not forget that making mistakes is a common area of human existence. You study from it, you're making amends, you try back. rather smart, somewhat, regardless of the complicated metaphysics.

Jesus said looking at another women lustfully is adultry at heart.. So doin that is sin. This is from scripture.
Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
If playing games leads you to likeing people dieing then it is sin.. Shooting in a game isnt wrong, but if you do it out of hate or anger (or enjoy killing the people) then its wrong.

ANYTHING that degrades the human form & the natural beauty of sex is sinful. I have seen pictures of women that CELEBRATE the female body & the beauty of the sex act. But if it's degrading, it's sinful. There is a line between ART & PORNOGRAPHY.

What some call the sin part is called lust and after awhile you become jaded and start looking for more extreme and unusual forms of sexual expression to arouse you.

If it's not wrong to seek artistic stimulation from visiting an art gallery, or musical stimulation from listening to CDs, then I don't see why it's wrong to seek sexual stimulation from enjoying pornography. It's all about satisfying your emotional and intellectual needs.

Why do you pay so much attention to what "people" say...and who are these people anyway? A bunch of silly prudes who don't have a clue about life in general. Do what you want, you hurt NO ONE, and you enjoy it. Stop feeling guilty and relax. Good luck
