its a book about Mary Magdeline

There are collections of weird stuff that may have UFO's, Bigfoot, Atlantis, codes in paintings by daVinci and Poussin and such rubbish. It seems that a Frenchman in the 1950's chartered a "secret society" and listed such notable men as da Vinci as past members. The group kept a story that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married and that their descendants became kings of France as the Merovingian Dynasty. The inventor of this wild tale claimed he was an heir to the throne...as one might expect. Da Vinci's "Last Supper" is supposed to show Mary. If so, where is the 12th male disciple? Actually, this painting soon faded badly, since da Vinci unwisely used oils, not tempera or casein...so no one can really say much about the original painting, except the general composition. If a woman is in it, restorers, not da Vinci, are responsible.

That jesus was a human being...he got married and his blood line exists even today....The novel is based on the controversial premise that there is a conspiracy within the Catholic Church to cover up the true story of Jesus. According to this premise, the Vatican knows it is living a lie but continues to do so to keep itself in power.

It is based on some hypothetical stuff in Davinci code...but the reality of that can be understood by reading couple of other books like ... Mary, Called Magdaline , The Immaculate Deception which uses a mathematical theory to prove existance of mary magdeline...one of those theories was also aired on discovery channel and history channel.

The mathematical theory used is logical, and undeniabiliy correct. So the conclusion of Da-Vinci Code is TRUE. But the methods Dan Brown has written in his book to prove that FACT about jesus and mary is FALSE. or a fiction or rather not empirical.

So the botton line is Mary did exist and Jesus was a human being but with a divine soul..but nobody knows of her bloodline or if it still exists...or if someone tried to hide it(all this is unproved yet) So da-vinci code is a fiction story but its conclusion is partly correct.

The writer Dan Brown must be laughing all the way to the bank. Good on him - a very good read and well worth the disruption it has caused.

Why, because it has made a lot of people readdress their faith in God.

Could it be true that Jesus married and had a child with Mary M ? Nothing is impossible and why I ask is the Church so angry, is it because they have something to hide?

What is so terribly wrong - that Jesus took a bride, a woman into the equation. The Church in all its actions have down trodden the female in society and my opinion is that its about time we were included in the equation, not just the Virgin Mary, but all women that touched Christ's life.

The book tells about Holy Grail. Holy Grail is supposed to be a chalice which is used by Jesus Christ in his last supper. But the book claims that Holy Grail is not a simple chalice but a woman 'Mary Magdalene' and Holy Grail is the true account (paper works which is guarded by Priory of Sion) of blood line of Jesus Christ.

Book claims that the Da Vinci knew all this things and he buried the coded messages about this secrete in his works.

But the book is a work of fiction.

It's a work of fiction based on several works of art. You Christian worrywarts out there, misinformation can only hurt you if you choose to believe it. It's a friggin' novel! Get over it, read it yourself. You might (gasp!) enjoy it!
