If I understand what you are asking then I have an idea of how to answer you. Jesus is considered the truth the light and the way. He is like a lamp unto your feet to help you stay on the straight and narrow. I bekieve He is also considered the salt of the earth for without Him what hope would any of us have.

as salt adds flavor to food and light gets rid of darkness, then a salt and light church would be one that adds flavor to life will bringing the light of the truth of god to the world.
