If you chill it in the fridge, plastic is more porous than glass, so it lets a litle of whats in your fridge in. Also glass conducts cold better than plastic so it will stay colder longer too.

Because the chemicals in plastic can leak into the water, glass doesn't contain those chemicals and thus leaves the water tasting WAY better!!

you should never freeze water in a plastic bottle, it can cause cnacer cause of the chemical in it.
