Ok, I put a $50 bill in one of three envelopes, and mix them up. I lay them out on the table in front of you, and ask you to pick one. I take the envelope you picked, and put it in front of you.
I take a different envelope, and show you there is no money in it. then I throw it away. There's two envelopes left. You can trade if you want. Would you like to trade, or do you like your first choice? Explain why you chose to trade it or keep it.

Tradei t. Once you trade... you have 66% chance of it being the one with the money. Counterintuitive? Absolutely! Its call game theory, a couple of years ago someone won a nobel prize for it.

I choose to keep the envelope in front of me because my first choice is always the best one.
Just like on tests.
If I change my answer, chances are, I changed from the right answer to a wrong one.

As bizarre as I am,I would take the envelope out of the trash,scold you for not recycling,and walk away with the empty envelope in hand,totally forgetting about the fifty.Yep,that's what I would do.

I would keep it because It's usually your first guess... F*ck that, I would make sure that the guy above me is in the room with me so that he can tell me which envelope it is.

I would trade only because I have x-ray vision and it would be obvious to me, once I tapped into my SPECTACULAR powers, that I would have the right envelope.
