I'll give you some of my secret eating spicy food tips.

After eating spicy foods:

DO:
Drink milk
Eat bread
Eat yogurt
Eat any non-spicy veggy or fruit
Take 1-2 antacids (tums)
And that is really about all you can do.

DO NOT:
Consume anything acidic
Drink beer, soda, or water
Eat more spicy food!

Good luck on your road to recovery.

I once at a whole spoonful of wasabi thinking it was guacamole! The only thing that really helped me was bread. Any kind of bread. Water doesn't do it, only bread. Hope this helps. Bread is also very good if you think you're choking. It will force the food down your throat. Hpe this helps and I'm sorry you're hurting.

Drink milk!! I promise it works, it totally stops the spicy....milk is basic and spicy things are acidic and when u drink milke, the base in it cancels out the acid in the spicy, and u feel all better!!

The heat in chilis is measured in Scoville units, or how much sugar water is needed to neutralize the heat. Plain water will only swish the oil around more in your mouth causing you even more pain! So, milk is good (lactose ,or milk sugar), bread is good, but....CHOCOLATE is best! Trust me on this one!!
