Why is believing in god important? Couldn't you achieve his wishes and his plans without knowing his existance?

No belief in Him is accepting him as your Lord and Saviour. Not anything else, so therefore you must believe in Him.

The idea of God is a subjective idea that's objectively shared.

Translation: Every person has his own idea of God, but the idea of God is shared among us. It is just an idea.

So you should be the one who decides if believing in this idea is important or not. The ones that consider the idea being not important are called atheist...

And such discussions on religion could go on and on and on and on, without any reasonable and/or logical conclusion... This is like a marketing strategy to sell a franchise :) Well, not just like that, but close to....

Is it really important or have we made ourselves believe that it is...Without the belief in god I think alot of people would go crazy...They have to have something to believe in...Otherwise existences means nothing...

Yes u can acheive ur wishes without believing in God. But its good to know ur source of existence.

If you dont know what God wants, how would know what God wants?

Nope

The only way to serve God is too believe in Him and the bible and follow both

If you didnt know Jesus' existence how would you know His teachings

I think that is a personal thing. Nobody knows God, His wishes, or His plans. Now watch all the Bible fanatics try to rationalize your question.

Yes. Is a rose bush aware of your plans for it when you plant it? Does it even know you exist? And yet, it grows and prospers of it's own nature while you guide it and prune it and feed it. No, belief is not important as long as you are true to yourself and your nature. Have ideas, not beliefs. :)

If you do not believe that God is in existence, then how can you possibly follow His wshes or plans? If you do not have any belief in Him then how do you know what He wants? Sorry but that makws absolutely no sense.

Is very important,because we must know that we are saved from the eternal death, by the Sacrifice of Jesus,Son of God and gives to us an eternal life in God , if we believe that. For that we must thanks to God .God whants aware believers who respect the rules of God.

People believe in God because they need someone to lean on when things are not what they seem or should be.
