i have a friend who is a boy :-). he is very kind to me. he may like me, but i am not sure about it.
Last week, he must fly to work in another country for 1 year. On his departure day, I was sick so I couldnt see him off at the airport. I called him to say sorry about it. And he said: " U are sick since u lack of 1 thing - a boy friend"
What is the meaning of his sentence? What is he thinking?

maybe he was hinting you were sick because he was leaving, and you like him... by the sounds of it, he likes you too.

He may want to be your boyfriend but it might just be his insight into your living situation. He may feel you need a man in your life because it will lift your spirits. He may want that man to be himself but he may have someone else in mind for you. The only way to know for certain is to ask him. If you can, phone him or e-mail him, although phoning would be better because you can pick up on whatever vibes he puts out when you ask him. It's kind of hard to do pick up tone of voice over an e-mail.

he thinks u have a b.f at home is the reason u didnt go see him leave hes not taking it in consideration that u were sick so he thinks u was just making up a story sum guys not all but sum can be that way dont take it to heart

He means that he if you had a boyfriend, you would not be sick. According to some science, it has been proven that lonely people do tend to live shorter lives than people who live with partners. He also might be implying that he wishes to be your boyfriend.
