It's only a question of belief. I don't believe in God either, but I acknowledge that God is very real to those who believe. Proof doesn't really even enter the equation.

What you need to realise is that you _can_ live a full and moral life without God, and that disbelief is nothing to be afraid of. If you don't feel the existence of God within your heart, you just need to recognise that and come to terms with it.

You should remember the so-called 'atheist's wager', which essentially counters Pascal's Wager and runs that there is no reason to believe in God, so we should live our lives in a moral way as if God does not exist, on the understanding that if there is a God, he will be a compassionate and understanding entity who will understand the cause and root of our disbelief and forgive it. And if there is no God, we have still done our best to make the world a better place.

There's no proof that god exists. There's "evidence" both ways, but there's no diehard proof. There is, however, the arguement that in order for creation to exist, there must have been a first cause (this is kind of a complicated arguement to sugguest that it's impossible that existence truly has been there for infinity, but bear with me). Whatever it was that caused everything is inheritly god.

Okay, so the big bang created the universe? Well, what created the big bang? What happened prior to it? Was there no such thing as time prior to the big bang? Did the big bang will itself into existence? If so, then the big bang is god. If that's the case, the universe itself is god, and shamanism is essentially correct.

Regardless, there is no proof, and very little evidence, that there is a single, omnipotent, sentient entity. The "complexity of the human eye" is an arguement to explain intelligent design, but attempting to use that as an explanation that god (as we have come to understand it) exists is faulty logic, at least without any other premises.

I know God is real based upon my life experiences. I have had a tough life, everything from drugs, abuse, failed marriage, sick children, jail, poor, and so much more.
Long story short, I realized there was a God 5 yrs ago after I sincerely prayed for the 1st time in my life. Ever since I have felt connected to God. So many amazing things have happend in my life since I turned to God. I have a deep understanding of God's nature now. There is no possible way that it's only by chance that my prayers get answered. Too much to get into detail. The livid dreams I have had that answered questions are not by chance. God is evident to me by looking around. I see God in so many people.
God is not human and we can't put him to human standards. I fought with trying to understand WHY? for so many things. but then I finally understood, I am not God, so I can't think like God. It's truly a mystery that we don't know all the answers for, we just believe (believers) because we have felt and seen so much from a relationship with our creator.
God is not going to reveal things to someone just because they don't believe in him. I had to endure a lot of pain and suffering before I finally said what the hell do I have to lose. I was so desperate when I cried out to God for help, but I was so sincere, and he has never left me since.
if we had proof what would be the purpose of life? God is truth, love, knowledge, energy, power, all comes from his existence.
Open your heart, look around, stop trying to think as God for you will NEVER understand until you let go of doubt.
Sure a lot has evolved throughout the ages but we were created by God somewhere along the way, and there is no right or wrong religion, there is purpose to life, we are here for a reason, not by some chance.

Everyone asks to have proof dumped in their laps that God exists, I still cant find anyone who can give me concrete proof that God does not exist. And please, don't go around calling us retards, thats grade school maturity at its worst. The Big Bang theory, I still don't see how complete order can come from chaos (e.g. Big Bang, if the universe was created from particles exploding, where did the particles come from?) Just becuase you cannot prove that something/someone does not exist does not prove non existance in my book. 1,000 years ago you could not study air molecules, so you would never have been able to prove their existance, does that mean the did not exist at that time? Thats my 2 1/2 cents anyway.

It would not be faith, if there was evidence.

It takes faith to believe in God. And without it you can't believe. One can't PROVE faith. It is like electricty you can't see it but you can see the light. If the scientists can prove that God is real with their machines, then there would be no reason for faith. Bottome line you need faith to believe.

If neither of those helps where did everything come from?
Big Bang theory-Where did all of the "matter" come from that caused the cosmic explosion?
Evolution-Where did the monkeys come from? Or where did the tiny micro-organisms come from?

Good luck

I hope you give God a chance

The Proof is within you. Think about that particular power which is lying inside you. It is immortal and invisible and as long as it is in you, you will keep breating , eating, moving, or can do all other physical activities. Once it leaves your body, all your movements will stop and your body starts spreading bad smell.
Hope you understand what i am talking about. We call this power "Soul". And this soul is only created by almighty GOD. You better should belive in GOD, he is real, a real more than real.

This question has been asked a million times within this community. Would you pls refer to history and I promise you will get all your answers.

But in one sentence, the proof of existance of God is the fact that you are existant today. The intellect from where this question emanates is nothing but an extension of the subtle energy of God that runs through you.

Because I see His goodness and mercy everyday. I see His miracles and love. I see how He has changed my life and so many other peoples. When I was within moments of taking my life it was Jesus that stepped in and wrapped me in His love. He removed the razor from my hand, took the liquor bottle from my lips, purged the drugs from my system, took the terror and pain from my heart. It wasn't any man made happy pill or some over paid psychiatrist (not that I am speaking against them), it was God. When I searched for Him, on my knees every night crying out to Him, He showed Him self to me. He exists, because if He didn't, I wouldn't be here.

Because you'll get some jesus crispies who want you to prove he exists, let me give you something from a scientific perspective.

You can not prove a negative. You can't prove "nothing". It's not possible. Negative numbers are hypothetical. The burden of proof falls to proving he does exist.

People of faith, who can't logically debate will try to cloud the issue like this. Don't let them.

He's here but he's not fair. Check out my question, do god have a favorite race? He blesses some people more than others, and sometimes it feels like he's abandoning us causing to ask if he's real. He's real, but is he fair is the question.
