all classic cars need attention, an issue with many is part availability, some cars like the MGB have excellent and cheap parts, and they are plentiful and inexpensive.
All depends on what style you want and as always, how big a cheque you are prepared to write

The Triumph TR sequence is often an excellent wager. The TR-6 is a goo d motor vehicle for the money. Get one with an overdrive in case you may. truthfully get a consumer's inspection via an self sustaining mechanic however on any used classic. do no longer purchase a TR-7. the two a TR-6 or TR-4 reckoning on your style. they're high priced to maintain for some issues yet usually very stable. you prefer to have the analyzing mechanic verify the carbs, the transmission and compression. If those are fit then you definately will want a relaxing motor vehicle with much less maintenance than maximum classics. On alfa's keep away from the Spica gasoline Injection if a possibility, they're high priced to restoration and few mechanics be attentive to the thank you to music those correct. Lancia's are completely too high priced to restoration and aspects are scarce interior the U. S.. Fiat's on the different hand have large aspects grant at low expenditures yet getting a spyder devoid of rust is confusing. They look after poorly interior the rain. in case you will locate one for an excellent fee, the Jensen Interceptor is a huge motor vehicle. unsure with regard to the maintenance or aspects grant. yet another large motor vehicle is the previous BMW 3.0cs - 2 door are going for 5-8k in line with subject.

My last classic was a 1967 Shelby Cobra and people used to call it "lookatthat." But the one I had the most fun with is a SWB Land Rover. They are easy to restore and once restored they will take you on classic adventures. I used my split screen model to take me to places like the Sierra Nevada's and the Pyrenees mountains. With the right combination of tyres, winch and drivers skills, you can go anywhere in a car that will give you years of pleasure and new experiences. Nothing like driving down an incline that you could not walk down and nothing like the screams of terror from those you have taken with you. Be intrepid, buy a shorty and have more fun than sex.

You can pick up old Mercedes-Benz relatively cheap now and the older they are the better they were built (not like modern day Mercs). There are some beautiful SL's available pre 1976.

Depends on how much money you have, I had an mg b gt for 7 years and loved it to bits.(Or until it fell to bits, I lived on the coast, sea air + mg = piles of red stuff). Though my dream car would be a 1960's Mercedes pagoda-roof SL Convertible. A 280SL, They are bomb-proof, but quite expensive. Good luck!

My pick if I could buy one is either a Chevy Nova or Malibu from 1970-1972. Darn good looking cars, and you can't beat good old American Muscle!!
