A co-worker of my brother in law gave him a gift cert to a psychic as a birthday present. Being a skeptic, he asked the woman about his nephew. The woman got really confused and worried, telling my brother that she was afraid to do the reading. She said that his nephew was in a very dark, cramped place, hung upside down. He was very happy but he really wanted to get out.
The funny thing is that she was RIGHT! The nephew in question was my son, and I was eight months pregnant with him at the time!
My brother gave her a very handsome tip after letting her in on the "joke."

My theory on all psychic phenomena is something of a logical caveat... if I'm using that term right (which I'm probably not).
The theory is that, people's reality is guided by their perceptions, but their perceptions are guided by their reality. What's more, these things aren't necessarily chronologically linear. So, you might be a good fortune teller because you believe you are, and there's not enough psychic "interference" from the rest of the world believing that you're not. However, some distortion in your belief occurs at a certain point in time. That belief, either proactively or retroactively, ceases your ability to become psychically attuned.
So what's my logical problem? It's simple: any phenomena that is observed happened because it observed. The logical assumption is that it's the other way around: events happen, and we observe them. The theory is just too impossible to break down, and that's what makes it not a theory, but just a pseudo-theory that lacks any sense of science. Still, if we operate on the principle that consciousness can in fact shape reality, it does seem to make sense; if the world believes mostly that there are no psychic phenomena, then obviously psychic phenomena should be low to non-existent, and that psychic phenomena that does exist should not occur in such a scope that it threatens to dismantle the current "world view." People's religions are self prophetic before they even are created...
Like I said, it's hard to find a real hole in it, but that doesn't make it true by any stretch of the imagination.
Oh, have I personallly ever had a psychic's words come true? Nope, not once.

Not really.Well, not beyond the general things. The funny thing is that I played Tarot Reader for a while and had some repeat business because they thought I was so good.I had visions that came true and dreams and all that jazz. All good things come to an end.I started second-guessing everything and now don't even believe in all that.I just choose not to try to figure out how all that stuff happened. It's just not logical.

I haven't had anything anyone said to me come true, that I remember but I did say something to someone that did. To make a long story short, I told him he was going to meet the person he was going to marry within a certain amount of time and he was surprised when he realized, after getting married a second time, that it all happened the way I told him it would. I've also had a dream that came true two days after having it plus known when something bad was happening while it was.

I do not consult them, but I've heard about them. There are many frauds. This is one more type. I was once more gullible. I learned how to do horoscopes. Mom had hers done and her palm read,so I gave her more thourough charts for free than what she paid for dearly. Ever hear of coincidence? A clock that stops is correct twice in 24 hours. Believers see only predictions made by psychics or astrologers that may happen to be somewaht correct and ignore those -often many more-that are totally wrong.

well, a year 2001 before the 9/11 a had girlfriend and we spoke about politics and stuff, i told her about the tension in the "political" air. (remember? back then Bush spoke about global defense system, that was far away of real danger hanging in the air, i didn't knew what it really was, but i felt that) I told her that the is long term war coming up. she pronounced me for a fool. after couple of months 9/11 happened. i saw her 2002 and she was still shocked about the words I've said, and she promised to listen to me next time...

i asked this same question a while back.
i, myself, had sylvia brown tell me what college i was accepted to and would attend (which was true, as it had already been decided by me). this came about when i was in the studio audience of a local talk show when sylvia brown was the guest. during a commercial break she singled me out and told me this. totally out of the blue.
three different psychics have told my mom that i was *her* mom in a past life.
one psychic told me that my unborn child would be a girl, and would be healthy. seems like a 50/50 guess, right? but the thing was that there were serious health concerns involved, and it would be very risky if i had a boy. she was absolutely confident in what she told me, and it turned out she was right on both counts.
