i'm an international student going to study at Oral Roberts University. i applied for uni around february and they didn't list me as an international student. I asked for my I-20 in early june, and my I-20 from my high-school already expired in May 28. The international coordinator told me that they would issue me a new one, but i would have to cross the US border and get it stamped. The thing is, my passport is getting renewed and won't be back anytime soon. A mexican VISA takes about 2 weeks to be processed and they won't issue me one without my passport. My mom asked the immigration in San Francisco if i needed the I-20 stamped, and they said no but its different in every state. Can anyone help me on this? thank you! the state I'm living in is Oklahoma.

if u are accepted in the university..it's better to contact to the international advisor who deals with about the status..see what they can do about it...i guess u need to do what they ask u to...
