I'll go if they taught more spiritually rather then enforcing rules and telling me what i should and shouldn't do.

There can only be one standard for our behavior. Other wise we would just pick and choose the parts of each that go along with our prejudices. Its what we call creating a god in our image. That isn't to say that we wouldn't study other teachers, but again, only one can be the standard. I've chosen the Bible because of the evidences like prophecies that have born out and the application of its teachings bring the best things I've never been able to make happen in my own wisdom.

How about you just take a look at several holybooks, The Bhagavad Gita, the Tao Te Cheng(Jane English translation), The Torah, and The Bible, and read all about the history of the books before you read the books themselves.

I would go to a church like that if i wanted to go to a church.

But i do like the chanting when i've gone with friends over the years, it's soothing. Other than that, it can be kinda scary, almost like the Indiana Jones movie with that weird sacrifice scene,

No I wouldn't. I believe that Jusus Christ alone is fully adequate for everything I need. If I live by the spring of abundant, clean, fresh and cool water, what is the need of bottled and uncertain one?

I did once its called the Universal Unitarian Church and they do study different religions.

I already do. The idea is that there has been more than one "wise prophet" in history, and that we can learn moral values from MANY sources.
