I don't think they compare necessarily... but all guys look at other girls even if they are in a relationship.... its just a perfectly natural male reaction....
I sometimes sneak a peak at an attractive man too, but that doesn't mean I'm comparing him to who I'm with at the time.... I just appreciate the looks...we're all human, we're just wired that way.

Obviously they do - if they didn't, they wouldn't be able to recognise their girlfriend (since recognition is just a very fast comparison of the person's face to all the faces in your memory).
More seriously, then yes, but it's a good thing not a bad thing. How could he think you were pretty/funny/smart/etc without comparing you to someone else? However some girls assume this means that men will be comparing their looks all the time. This simply isn't the way men's brains work - if we fancy you, then that's what we're thinking about when we look at you, not about anyone else.

yes. whilst in bed with my girlfriend i compare her to uma thurman, however whilst looking at her i can see no similarities, so i generally close my eyes and form a mental image of ms thurman. viola.....works every time

yes esp when they hav a quarrel n when they having sex. they wil definitely compare them to their exs, celebrities or their frens. man n wman r alike, they love to compare

My missus is all i need so i dont need to compare her to anyone.
(she is unique, so could never match anyone anyway)
