I recently met a guy through his parents his dad works with my mom. Well his mom invited me to a movie and i thought i was going to ride home with them but he told them he was bringing me because we dont live too far from each other! ANYWAYS We ended up hanging out until about 12:30 before he finally brought me home, and then we went and played some pool a few days ago. Well now when I call him he says he'll call back but only does part of the time. less than 1/2 actually I just dont know if he's just shy or trying to avoid me I mean if he didnt like me would he have hung out with me a second time??

Don't take the advise of prity_ful. If you succeed in making a guy bow down to you, you will have a wuss on your hands for the in-tire relationship. On the other hand you treat him like the man he is and you will have someone that will be willing to kill for you.

FOR ONE, don't be so accessible to him or any guy. Please, that is not the way to venture into a new relationship. ONLY until after mutual feelings are established can you let up a little and "do for him" --meaning, go the extra mile to make him smile, help him with something, etc....until then, exhibit your self-esteem and let this guy know that if he wants to see you HE has to make the next move. You can do this without saying a word - if he doesn't return your calls, stop calling him.
I know, I know.....easier said than done. Believe me, in the long run, you DON'T want to be "that girl" hanging around the phone in hopes of a call that may not come. You miss out on a lot that way. Just surround yourself with friends, plan activities with them or family, or hey, work more hours -- get some overtime if possible! Then treat yourself! :)
Guys are drawn to girls who have back bone and self-worth. After all, if you don't place a value on your time, who will?
Good luck -- growing up sucks sometimes. ...even at my age, and I'm over 40! :)
