it is because u lose quite a lot of blood and are on liquid diet for some time. this causes ur protein levels to reduce resulting in nhair fall. though there are a no. of other reasons like weakness, hormonal changes,etcetera.

After surgery, hair falls out because of the stress caused to the entire organism. But after a few months, hair regenerates itself.

Stress, hormone imbalance, or any other number of things. I've never had that happen and I've had major surgery on more than a few occasions.

i think the anaesthesia drug which is given for the surgery affects your hair and makes your hair fall off.

Yes, its the medications...will affect your nails too.

Could be the meds they give you...or steriods.
