Yes, they can, but only if they still have open unhealed sores.

If you're worried, I'd take her to her pediatrician for a chicken pox vaccine.
My son had a really mild case when he was only four months old. Every doctor I've seen has affirmed that he could still get them again. So, when he was young I actually allowed him to play with friends who had them. I wanted him exposed to it as often as possible to either get it over with once and for all or see if he would get them again.
He never did, but our family doctor still suggests he get the vaccine before he goes off to college. Chicken pox in adults can be VERY dangerous.

Adult cases are usually much more severe and can go internally, causing anything from infertility to death.
Get her exposed YOUNG!! (But older than six months as it usually takes a baby about six months to start developing their own immune system and they will have the immunity the rest of their life...any younger and the change she could get them again is definitely there.)

yes. Chicken pox is a virus so it may mutate (Shingles) and ur daughter will still contract the illness in the future

the vaccine is a LIVE vaccine meaning that it contains the chicken pox virus, so either way, there's a high chance that she'll get the disease in her lifetime.
Chicken pox can be fatal w/ age, so it is always better to naturally develop immunity thru exposure while young

A friend of mine came over to visit me. She gave me a big unexpected hug (the only time and for not reason) and then told me, "I was taking care of a little boy who has Chicken Pox. I want my daughter to get it." Three weeks later I got it. If I can tell you about a day when I was sick was when I had this. I never saw her again, so I am sure that she did it on purpose.

Chicken pox is normally infectious before the chicken pox have come out, so if they've been in contact before, it maybe too late. Its better for a child to get chicken pox than an adult.

You'll proberly find there are already infected as chicken pox is most contagious at the earliest stages before the spots come out
and with out the spots you don't realise you have it so you are passing it on with out realising

yes they can, but it is not 100%. My whole family had chicken pox and I never caught it, my doctor said not everyone gets it.

It's possible. It isn't likely, but it is possible. I suggest you let them so your daughter can get it while she is young. If she gets it when she is older she will be MUCH more miserable with it. The vaccine does NOT work well at all.
