It depends on the quality of the pelt, and what the market price range is at the time. Obviously winter pelts are worth the most from a quality standpoint. Mangy southern dogs can go as low as 15 bucks, where a big northern can go over $100.00. Check with some local clubs there are probably guys in your area that can give you a good average. Oh and to all the folks making negative comments, my neighbours child was attacked by a coyote while playing in her sandbox. Population control is a necessary activity, no one is asking you to do it yourself. Leave the job up to the educated public.

Search the local area for buckskinners, rendezvousers or re-enactors. This group of people will pay more potentially (for a good pelt) because they will actually use it for something. (Fur trim on clothing) Coyotes are not an endangered species, they can be a nuisance, and population control may be needed in some areas (due to attacks on humans or livestock).

If nothing else your local Department of Natural Resources might pay for pelts if there is an over population problem. But then you also might need a hunting license as well if you are dealing with them.

Probably not much b/c it's not like they are rare or anything. or very pretty for that matter- Aren't coyote furs kind of course and gross? Did you skin one or what? Gross! If we shoot a coyote, we just leave it. More coyotes will come eat it.
