Are you going there as an expat or on your own?
If you're going as an expat, you will have a nice house with airconditioning and maids. It may be a little smaller than what you are used to, but it should fit your lifestyle.
If you are going on your own, earning Philiippe wages, you will most likely have a much smaller house or apartment. An airconditioned bedroom, and maybe one maid. You will most likely have a problem with flies and roaches. Bring some boric acid with you, it will really help with the roach problems!
