take her to the shelter. she may need to be put to sleep. it sounds as though she is pretty sick. get her the help she deserves.

she has a uterine infection, and will die w/in days if it's not taken care of. The passage from vulva to uterus on a female dog is somewhat "u" shaped, and if bacteria enters the canal, it will cause an infection that shows itself as bloody discharge. My poor old dog got this a couple years ago. The vet did emergency surgery and removed her uterus. She is fine now, and acts like a puppy. Very expensive though. They say it is painful, so sad...maybe you could take the stray to a vet? they sometimes put down strays for free...

A uterine infection! Needs immediate veterinary care!! My 9 year old boxer had to have surgery for the same thing just days ago. It just wasn't that advanced.

Yeha take her to the vet it doesn't sound right, sounds like when they normally go on heat.
