I have had many people ask me if I was a Christian. This happened to me tonight when a man came in to the emergency room. He had been in there before and became combative , had to be maced and had to be taken out by the police. He had froth comming from his mouth and appeared to be unconcious. I simply touched him to do a proceedure and he looked at me and said, "Are you a christian?" I replied" yes." How can you tell?" He said, "I can feel it". Then he asked me to pray for him as he said he was afflicted. I told him I would fast and pray for him the next two days.

Yeah they can! Oh heck yes they can. Let me see I have so many stories of being on the subways in NYC and wow I could tell many but I wont here. They see the light of Jesus Christ living in you. Yes just as the demons recognized Jesus Christ and cried out "Son of God, Have mercy on us." They also recognize you as a follow of Jesus. Remember the Holy Spirit indwells all believers in Jesus.

I love such questions because they wake America up to the TRUTH of the spirit realm....
Anyway,demons know who:
1.Is born again by the Holy Spirit.
2. Is a hypocrite Christian.
3. which church really serves God.
4. which belief is harmless and which one is not.
They can tell if you don't have Christ...
When born-again Christians do deliverance from curses and demons on someone, some demons refuse to come out and give reasons like "One of you is PROUD or one of you lives in fornication so I will not come out"....
You see demons even know if a Christian is living like a UNBELIEVER or not!
They are spirit and you can't hide anything from a spirit!
If you have not recieved Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior, do so while you have time...the spirit realm is real!

Yes. You don't have to touch a person for them to tell, either. The previous posts are right on about being able to see God in you and the good that is around you. You were speaking, it appears, to the man, and not to the spirit.
You were wise to offer to fast, and not to just pray. I'm not sure I would limit it to 2 days, though....you might want to pursue a confirmation from God on that. Nonetheless, expect a battle in this fast, and pray that one day you will see him again to find out if this experience is fruitful in the end.
I admire your courage.

Yes, demons can sense the presence of the Holy Spirit in you. So can those who are demon possessed, as man would seem to be at first sight.
Why did you say you would pray latter, if you were not willing to pray right now? That man obviously needed prayer now, and you can continue to pray latter.

I beleive so anyone who has true faith in Christ (as i do) will have something that will frigthten or anger demonic spritits, however, it can also put a large target on us, and we may be assaulted sprittually, but if we continue in our walk with The Father and The Son and The Holy Spirit, no sprirtual harm can come our way.

All those people that answered yes or yes kind of, or something similiar..........you have all gone crazy..nuts.... You need serious help.
Stop going to church for a while(about 6 months)....dont hang out with any christians for that time also. You will then seei its just learnt behaviour. Peer group manipulation
There are no demons etc......... its in your mind.
here is how you can fix all your demon problems.......STOP BELIEIVING IN THEM......even your own Jesus said they have no power.....the old testament even says they dont exist.....stop believing in them.and watch their power fade.....

When people have a relationship with God they have a look upon their faces and it shows. It also has alot to do with our souls, our souls have been in groups with other souls. Its like when you meet someone for the first time and right off the bat you hit it off and feel like you have known this person forever, or that person you meet and take an instant dislike to them, your souls have been entertwined somewhere before.
