how do i fix a tikka in my hair?

This is a question for people who know about an Indian piece of jewellery called a (maang) tikka. I am going to a wedding tomorrow as a bridesmaid and have been asked to wear a tikka. I'm not sure how to - any ideas please? I've tried bobby pins but it doesn't stay as i have fine hair.

im not familiar with wat u have to wear but u could try hairspray and bobby pins
