for a sex lubricant you should always use a water based lubricant and not an oil based one.

the reasons for using water based and not oil based are:

oil based lubes can provide the right conditions within the vagina to harbour infections such as thrush.

oil based lubes affect the effectiveness of condoms by breaking down the latex and making you vulnerable to condom breakage

oil based lubes will adversely affect adult toys and cause the material they are made from t break down.

water based lube does none of the above.

It doesn't sound right to me either. However, I friend of mine made scented massage oil with it and it seemed to work just fine for his wife, so, I see no good reason not to use it for a sex lube. I bet it works well! My wife likes KY Liquid the best. But she can't stand that same stuff with the "HEAT" ingredient in it. She says it burns. Oh well, so we use the regular. LOL
