There's a lot of electricity in your body, believe it or not. Electrical impulses helps to keep your heart pumping and your blood moving and your brain running. Electricty that enters your body from the outside environment is more or less harmless if the voltage is weak enough. Of course, if your heart stops it can help save your life it goes into your chest and jumpstarts your heart. But if the voltage is too great you will fry and die. Most people who get hit by lightning usually live. But they have a wound where the lightning enters and exits.
