i started that age and it lasted 2 years.. it ended fine too =)

NO! NO! NO! NO! this woman at a friend of mines church has a granddaughter who they thought was just doing cutesy dating you know holding hands and stuff who ended up pregnant the girl is twelve without proper supervision and education no girl that young should be dating anyone group dates with grown ups along is good or single dates with the grown up at the same place but not right on top of the kids is always a good idea as well

A good rule of thumb: ask her why she wants to date and what she would do with a boyfriend? If she can answer that seriously and maturly then she is old enough...however, I'm guessing she won't be able to.

Ummm........ NO!! That is the most insane thing I've heard, that child has had to much exposure to t.v and adult aspects of life... if that child does start dating your mother should be thrown in jail for not doing anything to stop the behaviour!!!

naw thats too young. not like she would understand dating anyways.. i mean if she is just seeing a guy and they are "dating". i dated when i was like 10 but it didnt mean anything until i turned about 16. just dont let her get the wrong idea.
