Omg..I'm black, but bright skinned. There wasn't a particular skin color that said black, asian or white. Ugh. And yes many mexicans have tried to use this line on me, Why don't you support us? Were protesting like yall did.

Because you won.

The fact that it took the courts enforcing the laws that already existed to do it, whereas the laws that exist now are not in favor of illegal immigrants is something their march organizers omit from the call to march.

You say "we" as if you are black. If you are black, why are you using a white avatar? Are you, in essence, comparing your self to the whites? I have never heard of Mexicans comparing themselves to blacks. You are asking a question to which there is no answer. For there to be an answer, Mexicans would have to actually be comparing themselves to blacks, and since I have never seen nor heard of such a thing, the question does not make sense, nor does it seem to have a point. By the way, I am both, black and Mexican. Oh, and Irish. I'm over it. The race does not make the person. It is up to the person to win the race.

what about what the Irish or the Chinese went through oh yeah i forgot they got over it cause it was over 100 years ago and you went through nothing you were not even born then ! how can you say "what we went through" as if you were there? I know racism is still around but damn you have all the freedoms I do plus some take the black miss America pageant if there was a white miss America pageant that would be racist but a black one isn't? hm mm how can that be? i am so sorry for you that you can't let go of something you never even experienced.if you are talking about the equall right movements and such i think many mexicans feel like they are going through the same type of thing and who's to say it doesn't feel just as shitty to go through? if you were around during the civil rights movements which i doubt you would remember the feeling of hopelessness many blacks felt. do you think mexicans don't feel like their situation is hopeless?

Every race and creed has had problems to face .

Mexicans have been discriminated against since the days before the Alamo. The Aztec Indians that lived in Mexico were enslaved before Africans were. The reason that Africans were brought to the Americas was due to the fact that European diseases were killing off all of the Indians. Also European colonists would have Indian tribes clash against one another just so they'd kill each other off.

Jews were enslaved by the pharoh in Egypt. During WWII they were forced to work for German armies and slaughtered by the millions in a massive genocide know as the Holocaust.Today in Isreal they are attacked by the Palastinians.

Arabs are targeted by Jews, killed everyday by the Israeli armies.
When they come to America they are treated as though they are wired with bombs big engouh to blow the whole of Washington D.C.

Italians are thought of as being criminals due to the infamous mob organizations.

Asians were sent to live in camps in the south west during WWII.
Also during that time,Germans living in the United States were sent to live in concentrated areas where they could be closely supervised.

Brits used to look down upon the Scottish and Irish .

Irish Immigrants to the United States faced adversity in New York , people wouldn't hire them.

The Kurdish people of Iraq were Saddam Hussein's victims, murded en masse.

The war in Kosovo was a war between two different ethnic groups , Serbians and Albanians . Slobodan Milosevic and his Serbian armies hunted for and killed Albanians.

Americans are discriminated against, kidnapped and killed in other countries simply because they are American.

White people receive unfair treatment as well , during the 1960s there was a lot of racial up heavel in Detroit. If you were White and walking through a Black neighborhood they'd kick your ***.

Women had to go to great lengths to be able to vote and hold property. The women's sufferage movement won great victories for woman kind.

Men are sterotyped into horn dogs that do nothing but think about sex all day.

Old People are treated as if they are a burden to society.

Young people are treated as they have done something wrong and are frequently pulled over by the police.

EVERY group is or has been treated unjustly or unfairly at one time or another.

Well, I've heard it plenty. Apparently the lot of you don't keep up with issue enough to talk about it. The reason is they are screaming equal rights. Blacks were treated unfairly and through the civil rights movement acheived equal treatment as whites which is good. The issue with illegals is completely different. They aren't even American citizens so how can they be treated as such. They actually get better treatment than Americans citizens. I mean, free health care in E.R.s, and food stamps of which citizens pay for. Basically, they want to keep taking advantage of us and are protesting because they don't want us to take their prevelages away. They protest civil rights, but they have nothing to do with the civil rights movement.

Because they were slaves to the spanish for over 300 years, in mexico the mexican natives are looked down upon called "naco "the equivalent to ni gg er and there is rampant racism againts "greasers" and "wetbacks" all the time. Blacks and mexicans have very much in common with the "blacks troubles", blacks aren't the only ones who have suffered. Worse thing Mexicans were made slaves in their OWN country. Or do you want to be the only race who has suffered

That's one of their tactics to get people OFF the issue of illegal immigration. Like when they try to bring up issues about the Native Americans and the way they were invaded by Europeans. That was history, but the illegal immigrants want to bring it up and try to cause a rift between us Native Americans and other Americans. They want to 'divide and conquor'. It won't work, it's their futile last gasp. They will try to divide us by using the 'slave' issue or the way the Irish or Chinese were treated in the past. The UNITED STATES is the "UNITED" states, and together we will stand!! Do not let them get us fighting among ourselves. That is what they are trying to do. We won't let them accomplish THAT goal!! They're a bunch of losers grasping at straws!!

When do Mexicans ever say that? Your confused....get your facts straight.....Although some may say that, all do not....And to put a meter on human suffering, how do you do that? Its like saying the Jews suffered more than the blacks, who says so? Minorities have suffered throughout history, what is your point?

I have never heard that..But know that you mention it..Americans Business Owners are paying coyotes to bring illegal immigrants to work for their company as slaves, they make them work all they long to pay back the cost they spent bringing them, and they only pay them a misery, althought it is not compared to what you guys went through..They are treating them bad taking advantage of their situation. Don't forget what your people went through years, years, years ago. They are humans and deserve the same as us,They come here in order to survive and send money to their wives and children at home, and to save money to bring their family to America..They are very poor people and America should help them.
