I think u do get shots but don't even worry about them. When I was your age they used these humungous needles and they hurt soooo bad. A couple of months ago I had to get a tetanus shot and the needles are so small these days. I didn't hardly feel it and it didn't hardly hurt afterward.

The trick to a shot not hurting is make sure your arm is relaxed when they poke the needle in. If your muscles are tight that's when they will hurt.

Ask your mom if you are due a booster shot she should know. If you are due for a shot believe me you want the shot . Just don't look at it and relax. It is better to get a shot rather than the illness that the shot will prevent.

Okay, you seem to be asking a lot of questions about the 12 year old check up and you need to realize most of us are older than 12 so probably can't answer your question, and some people will most likely give you some dirty answers.
Anyway...it's different all over the place. you really should be asking your parents or doctor. You have to go sooner or later.
good luck i guess

I think you have to get one... some sort of booster shot. but if I remember correctly, that is just about the last of those type of shots for the rest of your life. so hopefully that will make this last one a little easier to take.

if your shot records are not current, your school, if you go to public school, cannot let you attend.

so get your shot, you'll be ok.

and who knows, I could be wrong about you needing one.

if you're talking about the check up before going into 7th grade...then yes. I had to get shots. It may be different state to state but I'm in Florida and it was required to have the shots before moving on in school. I'm terrified of needles and they weren't that bad.
