We call each other everyday and are really in love; we have both said it but it is so long till we meet again. We are both willing to wait but friends tell me not to bother with an intercontinential relationship.

if you truly love her and she truly loves you give it a chance a way if it still works out when you ll meet again things will pay of by having each other there. but if you think that your feelings will change or hers, talk as friends.

i would be tempted to tell you to just leave it - thailand is very, very far away, as i'm sure you know.
if you call it quits and can't stop thinking about her a year later, maybe reconsider. because that distance is almost too big to do anything about.

I fell for an Aussie once..... it went on for a couple years..... he would call me from Australia... and I would call him from here...we talked about him getting a visa.... some way for him to go to college here..... but he was to scared.... it didn't happen.
Anyways, get info. on a visa... it'll allow him to stay for a period of time.. to keep him here, besides going to school.... you'd have to marry him.
