I am not trying to support cheating.

The main reason people cheat is because it's a part of human nature. Right?

Someone said it's an animal behaviour. Well we are animals, just very intelligent, socialized ones. Scientific studies have shown a woman to be more attracted to a fit, strong, good looking mate because they feel they will be well protected and cared for. This is purely on a subconcious level, yet it exists.

Why should the same not be applicable to the man. In nature a male of any species will mate as often as possible with as many females as possible to increase his chances of passing on his genes. The very same study revealed that men are more attracted to women who had more pronounced hips for child birth, (again subconciously).

The only difference between us and the very, very few species of animals that will mate for life is the fact we realize the difference, can overcome the instinct and conciously make the choice.

I hope this has given people something to think about that automatically thought of a moral response.

No, but nice try. Cheating is a passive-aggressive way to get back at your partner, and also because you feel like a disappointment to them.

It is transparent.

Cheating is like holding a giant billboard tht says you cannot face your issues and deal with them, so you have to sneak around and use other people to make youself feel more worthy.

It is selfish and underhanded. It lacks integrity. There is no excuse for that.

No. It's not a part of human nature. People like to think so because it's a crappy excuse. It's a decision. Now, to WANT someone else is part of nature. You can't help being attracted to someone. But it's you who decides to act on it. Not nature.

Cheating does not exist in human nature.

Our Human nature is animalistic, and our purpose is to further the species, and to mate with as many prime partners as possible.

"Cheating" is a creation of society.

doing the wrong things are a part of human nature yes...but doesnt mean that they have to be done...think about it...mistakes are part of being human...but cheating...although it is a mistake...is just a blatant one...so people who cheat make a conscious CHOICE to hurt someone.

I don't think it's a part of human nature. It's the fraility of human nature. Like murder or robbery. Some have that switch in their head that keeps them from doing it, some do not.

Thats sort of a generalized statement isnt it? Thats like saying doing drugs is human nature. Its out there but it doesnt mean you have to do it. Whatever you have to tell yourself to relieve the guilt...

Absolutely not! Cheating is adultery, adultery is sin. God created man and woman in His own image, faultless, and pure because God is faultless and pure. Therefore, since we are created in His image we cannot continue to sin by means of adultery. Adultery is a direct result of the fall of man. Not part of God's creation.
