Pretty much, Jesus spoke about hypocrites, those who say they believe in God, yet by their actions deny it (it's in there somewhere, but I forget the exact spot. I don't know the Bible in and out like others who can quote it easily).

Not necessarily - a lot of people wear the cross and have no clue as to why they shouldn't - it's an icon or idol - it doesn't represent anything that a Christian should want to tout around their being - so just because they wear a cross is no indicator of their faith in Jesus Christ - and for the most part if you are human, you are a hypocrite, because we cannot be perfect - therefore, at some point in time in our lives on a daily basis, what should be our perfect walk and talk in the name of Jesus Christ, is going to fall short and we will be a hypocrite - so that is a poor excuse to stay out of church, to stay away from Christ, and to base judgment upon someone's behavior who claims to be a Christian.

I see a lot of people who aren't even Christians wear crosses.

To answer your question, yes, if the person who is wearing a cross and claims to follow Jesus Christ has casual sex, they are committing sin and can be called hypocrites.

Nearly everyone who wears the cross is a hypocrite. I don't say this trying to be cruel, but there are soooo many crosses being worn, but so little actually gets done.
Give up your money.
Work with the poor.
All the hard stuff Jesus said is ignored.
You CAN"T be rich and also claim to follow Jesus.

Well not everyone who wears a Cross is a Christian. Take Madonna for example. She used to wear crosses all the time. A hypocrite is one who puts on a mask and feigns himself to be what he is not; a dissembler in religion. My grandmother used to say "Everyone talking about Heaven ain't going there."

Ok, well I for one love casual sex. I do think that the idiots who are all christian but have casual sex are hypocrites. God frowns upon wasted semen. So, yes they are!

Yes - but so is anyone else who professes to be Christian.

Why? Because we all hate sin - and yet are sinners. It's human nature - our congenital predisposition, thanks to the original sin of Adam and Eve. We are all condemned to be hypocrites because we know what is right and yet we do that which is not right.

Christ commands us to check our hypocrisy - to take the log out of our own eye first, so to speak (Matthew 7:1-5). But just because we are sinners doesn't let us off the hook when it comes to confronting our fellow Christians about their sin. We are commanded to confront them gently and in private and to help them recognize their sin. If our intervention does not work, we are to seek the help of other Christians.

Hell yes! Unless that person only sees the cross as plain jewelry.
