So in America, we believe in crime in punishment, but also more importantly no cruel and unusual punishment...the punishment must fit the crime.

We also believe in redemption. If someone breaks the law, we don't give up on them. We punish them to teach them a lesson and then we give them another chance.

However, god doesn't do any of this things. So is America more just than god?

God does not punish us and sees if we are better, god just throws us in hell and throws away the key.

Time for the logic stick again...

Hell (and heaven for that matter) are FALLACIES. Every religion teaches of an afterlife of eternal joy if you follow the rules, and eternal suffering (or do overs) if you don't. It was just a way for those in positions of authority to keep the masses in line.

You do not know what you say. GOD has authored redemption in the person of Jesus. Check out Ephesians 1:4 of the Contemporary English Version. "Before the world was created, God had Christ choose us to live with him and to be his holy and innocent and loving people."

Nothing, no one, is most just than GOD. Everything that is was created by him. Look to what GOD spoke to Job beginning with Chapter 38 for daring to ask why.

GOD most certainly does punish people for his own reasons and in his own time. Sadly, many people will not turn to GOD, confess their sins, and repent.

"Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate! The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide enough for all the multitudes who choose its easy way. But the Gateway to Life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it." Matt. 7: 13-14...Life Application Bible.

Please allow Jesus into your heart to give you all the blessings that should be yours. Ask him for the help which you cannot place into words. Knock on the door, just ask, open your heart.

How do you know what God Does or does not do. If we knew that we would be more powerful then God..... it is impossible to know. You have just been introduced to one opinion of hell. God is the all just, the all knowing, the all wise, all loving, our creator. It is my belife and a belief shared around the world that hell is nothing more then your distance from god.
What is the source of light.....the sun....what is the source of darkness??? nada....darkness is merely the absence of light.
What I am saying is....I belive in God and seperation from God is hell...and who know's how long that seperation can last....eternity is simply an amount of time us humans cannot comprehend....question that not all things are as simple as people make them. If we knew all the answeres about God, there wouldn't be as many religions around the world, and humans would be Infalable....and we are not.....humans somtimes suck....think about it. God is the only thing that equals true justice. Don't judge what you cannot understand.

Just watch the news and see what the criminal Americans and Israelis are doing to innocent civilians and you will find that Hell is justly justified. God’s wisdom, mercy, judgment, and punishment are not similar to humans as He is the All-Knowing Wise. He punishes people for their bad intentions which mean that if they live for ever they will be bad for ever. This short life is just a test to show our deeds which reflects our qualities.

You're also forgetting that God gives you your entire lifetime to do what he says and he is willing to overlook your errors if you repent for them. The only time that God will "just throw us in Hell and throw away the key" is when we don't take advantage of the time we are given. Don't think about whether you want to worship God or not. Think about what will happen if you don't. That should be motivation enough to try your hardest.

people are so wrong with that train of thought. how can you justify that, for one its Gods will that none shall perish or go to hell. and if God is not full of mercy and forgiveness then i guess God gave his son jesus to sacrafice just because he had nothin better to do to pass time. i hardly think so. God forgives me every day and gives me the chance to do better. the bible is very clear on who goes to hell and who dont and God doesnt send them there people volunteer to go to hell. for God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have ever lasting life. you accept jesus christ as you lord and saviour right there (considering your conversion is lagit and not some act) your sins are forgiven and hell is not your final destination then. but thats your decision to make choose christ and gain eternal life or reject him and go to hell its a choice by rejectiong him your basically saying no thanks for eternal life and heaven God id rather just go to hell. if thats your choice then i hate that for yabut what heaven has to offer compaired to hell im more than willing to accept christ and live for him. as far as punishment God does chasten the ones he loves and how can anyone justify americas morals when its completely ok to take the life of an innocent unborn child its awful funny the only people who are for abortion is the ones thats already been born abortion is legalized murder how many future presidents have been killed one of them coulda been the one that cured aids or cancer and we killed them before their heart could beat the first beat. believe it if you want or not it doesnt matter to me but one things for sure we all will die eventually thats something we cant exscape and when that happens you will see God and if the blood of jesus hasnt been applied then my friend all these twisted ideas and foolish thoughts will be clear then but then its too late God gave his son to give us a chance what jesus suffered was real the whipping post, the crown of thorns, nails being hammered into his hands and feet the spear piercing his side him hanging there watching as every drop of blood dripped from his body on to the ground and why did he do it? because he knew that one day someone was going to go on yahoo and ask a question about mercy and hell and that person like everyone else in the world needed a savior a way to exscape a predestined doom that the only way they could was to obtain mercy from God for thier sins so he volunteered to take the punishment that was meant for you and me because of his mercy friend before you make those statements you need to read the bible to get a better understanding without jesus there is no forgiveness

How can you say that? God has written the fact of His existence into creation, and His law on our hearts (conscience). He has created man in His own image (with the ability to discern right from wrong).

Throughout our lives, He gives us chance after chance after chance. "He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."

When it comes to heaven and hell, it's not a matter of merit; it's a matter of grace. We can't save ourselves. If we want to be made right with God, we have to accept His provision, and that is faith in Jesus Christ.

Wrong, hell is nothing more than the common grave of mankind. There is no eternal torturing of non-believers. They will go into non-existence, while those who accept Jesus as their savior based on his ransom sacrifice and do the will of God will gain everlasting life. That is just and loving of our creator.

Don't even worry or fear the negative, Brother, when You can spend an eternity in heaven, simply by believing that Jesus came to the earth and died for our sins! God is good all the time!!
