There is no best place. Think of what you both like and expenses. My husband and I both loved disney and going to zoos. So we did the Disney World experience and Sea World experience. Just remember that a honeymoon is only a honeymoon if your having fun. It doesn't have to be a place that you fly to or travel to.You could find a hotel and just drive around or spend time in the hotel. Be creative. Find ways to fit your interest.

My husband and I went to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico, and absolutely LOVED IT!!! But it doesn't matter if you like the tropics, the mountains or the snow, just pick a resort that is 1.) all-inclusive, and 2.) adults-only.

With it being all-inclusive, you just pay one up-front cost, so you don't have to worry about how much you're eating or drinking all week. Also, tips are usually included with all-inclusives. It feels great to dine on fine cuisine and then just leave without paying! Taking all the money worries out of the week just makes it so much more relaxing.

And speaking of relaxing... screaming, rowdy children can ruin a romantic atmosphere, so go to an adults-only place! You want your honeymoon to be tranquil and worry-free... so you have time to focus on each other!! ;-)

If you are looking for a relaxing time and want to unwind from the wedding, go to Belize.

I have been there three times and everytime it gets better. There are beaches for miles and the night life is great. I rented a bungalow on the beach with a girlfriend and had a blast. In the day time, you can relax on the beach, go shopping at on of the many local markets, take tours into the mountains, and scuba dive. In the night time, the towns light up and the dance clubs are booming.

Have a good time where ever you decide to go, just remember to never leave your passport and money at the hotel.

If you are not into a tropical location. Consider going to Edmonton Canada. The largest mall in the world is there. There is an amusment park, a water park, fantasy hotel, restaraunts, and night clubs...and hello shopping!!! The coolest thing is you never have to leave this city within a city. You could be there for a week and still find new things to do!

Anyplace the two of you can be alone, and solidify your relationship. Coming together as one, emotionally as well as physically is what matters. The wife and I went to a cabin in the woods. Had a great time. That was 29 years ago
