I have at least 3 different bibles, most the NIV version and I think I have a NKJ and KJ version to. I also have 3 different books that help me when I am reading the Bible, I have the Strong's concordance also. You can never have to many I think. and they all are dog eared and highlighted like crazy.
God Bless

I have 3 Bibles - one I keep at work, one I use the rest of the time, and one that I got as a gift and have been putting off using because I tend to be rough with books and I don't want to mess it up.

I don't have a study Bible - I feel they are a crutch for lazy readers of the Word. I prefer to struggle with the text myself instead of reading what someone else thinks the interpretation and emphasis ought to be. If I get stuck or have a question I will consult several sources to try and find an answer. I also feel that study Bibles are just another part of that multi-billion-dollar Jesus market that has arisen in recent years - and I have a REAL problem with the idea that there are people out there who are profiting personally from the sale of consumer goods to Christians.

I have my Great-Grandmothers. I have at least 10 and some of them are study Bibles and some are versions other than King James. I have my daily one I use, which is about the fourth one for daily use as I have a tendency to write in them and mark notations and take study notes and then I have to get a new one, that's why I keep them. I have 3 in German. Then there's my son and husband who have at least two or three a piece of their own. We have my husbands Grandmothers. I've been promised my Pa's, who was a preacher, but at 85 he still reads his everyday, between falling asleep while doing so!! But, it's not the number I have that matters, it's what I learn from them that carries me through each and every day!! and it's what I share from them with others - otherwise, they would just be books on a shelf in bad need of dusting.

Let's see here... I have a Catholic Bible, Jehovah's Witness Watchtower bible, King James and Book of Mormon, NIV, plus a set of the Apocryphal texts, and a gift Bible my husband got in fourth grade... That's what, seven? Oh, and a copy of the Holy Kuran and the Bagavad Vida, if they count.
By the way, I'm NOT a Christian, I just look for Truth and Enlightenment in all forms. And besides, the writing is so darned beautiful! Any poet of any faith can enjoy the writings of the Ancients purely at face value.

I have about 40 bibles in various languages, including Latin, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, German, Swedish, Cheyenne, Comanche, Shoshoni, and Vietnamese. About 25 of those Bibles are English translations including about 15 study bibles. When I study a passage I look at a variety of study bibles and translations in addition to the original languages.

Several are all marked up from studying.. which is why I bought others.
