Hi i've travelled to bangkok few times. In the end, i realised Bangkok airport's Money Changer has even better rates than SIngapore! At least we can get a few tens of dollars more in Thailand with each SG dollar we change. Trust me on this. Look at the best answers i've given, they are always the most informative based on personal experience. :)

Get your Thai baht from Golden Mile Complex. You can compare the rates with the money changers. I got better rates there than in Bangkok.
