A friend told me I was amazing, and when I asked him 'how', he couldn't answer, which leads to my question- What makes a person amazing? I refuse to believe it is something superficial, and would enjoy recieving any answers!

Some one who is amazing is one that gives without expectation, helps without want, heals without temptation and all the time does not even realize that he is doing it because his nature is to be that way. People like that out out there....one in a million comes to mind.

I think an amazing person is someone who goes above and beyond your expectations. They do all of it just because they can and have the power or ability to. Theyre not getting anything out of it they just do it because its their nature. That is what truly makes someone amazing.

Amazing is in the eye of the beholder, so to speak. Maybe you did something for your friend that he didn't expect. You surprised him, and he was taken back by that. You made him feel special.
My mother is amazing because she is able to befriend anyone and make them feel special.
Don't question why your friend thinks you are amazing -- just be glad he thinks of you that way and be grateful.
