To never accept or reject a person based upon what they look like on the outside, but by the way they are on the inside. Teach a child that and you will have accomplished much.

My major thing would be to be patriotic to your country. I would tell them that their great great grandfather fought for their freedom in world war 2 and they should be proud of that.

I know personally that because of my patriotism for my country I am a better person. Because I want our country to be represented well I do my best to be nice to people, have manners, have respect etc.

I know that sometimes I could hit that little old rude lady but I know that there are arrogant people in each generation and that she is no different to anyone else.

Have you heard about the fruits of the Spirit? Let those be taught to your children. If you follow them, your children will automatically follow you, because your life is the greatest example for your kids to follow

I hope my children learn the value of serving others. That true service isn't convenient. Helping those who are worse off than you are is one of the most rewarding things we can do in this life.

How to stay in touch with the spirit within them. If they can do that, they can do all things necessary to lead a productive and happy life. And I mean the inner "soul", our personal connection to "God", and NOT through religious means.
