Then why are there so many verses commanding to us to kill
non-believers, witches, homo-sexuals etc etc etc. Did God
forget his own laws? If God didn’t write these verses then
COULD other parts of the bible be wrong as well for example,
the Jesus’s life, genesis etc etc etc etc.

Kill the Entire Town if One Person Worships Another God

Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. In such cases, you must examine the facts carefully. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it. Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin forever; it may never be rebuilt. Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction. Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on you and make you a great nation, just as he solemnly promised your ancestors. etc etc I have far to many

You have it all wrong. The "thou shall not kill" rule is for the non-Christians to follow, or for the Christians to MAKE the non-Christians follow.

The other rules that say to kill everything in sight is the rule for the true believers. Onward Christian soldiers!

this is definitely, "Thou shalt no longer homicide," no longer "kill." there's a distinction. Kill is a usual term. homicide, despite if, implies unwarranted or unauthorized killing. Is it homicide whilst the government places a demise row inmate to demise? Is it homicide whilst somebody kills an outsider to guard his relatives? of direction it is not. this occasion isn't contradictory regardless of what it ought to look. In Exodus 20, God tells the Israelites some thing that each and each physique mankind has worry-free from the beginning up, that homicide is faulty and that they are to no longer do it. in the previous in Exodus, despite if, God kills the firstborn of each residing house that did no longer have the blood of the Passover lamb on their door posts. There are 2 significant issues we could desire to observe approximately this. One, that this is a warranted and authorized form of punishment upon people who sinned. And, 2, that God nevertheless gave them a guess to alter their techniques and obey Him in the previous it exchange into too previous due. people who obeyed have been saved whilst people who have been too obdurate (like Pharaoh) paid the fee. lower back, it is not a contradiction, yet i will see how this could be a perplexing thought to entice close. i'm hoping this helped.

The original Old Testament texts were written in Hebrew and the word for "kill" used in the Ten commandments found in Exodus, and in Numbers should be "murder" and the verse should read "thou shalt do NO MURDER, (to murder is to take someone's life just cause you can.) so stop trying to justify your unbelief, please.
Whenever there's a verse about killing something or someone you'll find an explanation.

Th Bible does Not say for us to Kill them. What it does say It WARNS THEM of what will happen to them

Galatians 5:
19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;

20 idolatry and witchcraft;

hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that

those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

For the record the commandment is "You must not murder." The original Hebrew word involved is ratsahh, which literally means “to break” or “to dash to pieces.” In his Hebrew lexicon, scholar John Parkhurst explains that in the Bible ratsahh “denotes manslaughter or murder, i.e. either the accidental or wilful taking away of a man’s life.” There is a big difference between murder and capital punishment.

God didn't write the bible, humans did. It's supposedly the "word of God." But yes, as you pointed out, many contradictions exist in what is written in the bible. The main thing that would be nice is if people listened to the stuff that makes sense, such as "Thou shalt not kill/murder"

Properly translated, the phrase is: You shall not murder.

Killing in self defense, a just war, and lawful capital punishment are not considered murder.

However many Christians including Catholics believe most modern governments no longer need to use capital punishment to protect society from criminals.

With love in Christ.

God never says to kill non-believers, witches, and homosexuals. That is never used one in the Bible so i am not sure where you are getting your information. God says "thou shall not kill"..true..but there were also wars in the Bible...It just means that we are not to go out and kill for no reason, like Liberia does. Non-believers, witches, and homosexuals will all get their punishment after death so God would not ask us to kill them.

There is a difference between murder and execution of justice... the commandment "Thou shall not kill" refers to murder. Killing in the act of justice by an established government is a different issue. In the old testement, God gave the Jews laws by which to live and warned them of the consequeces of breaking them.

i have been reading the bible since i was a kid and i have never come across a verse that commends me to kill. i think it's the way u interpret it or it's the bible u are reading,u see there are so many versions,each versions have been translated by different people who interpreted their own way. just use common sense,do u think your God will ask u to kill one of your brothers. didn't he tell u to love your neighbor as yourself. just think and if u have been reading the wrong thing,make sure u change it.

It says

13 "You shall not murder.

There is a difference...Also the laws in the old testament times were different therefore when Jesus died those laws were removed. (of course not the law about murder but the others about killing witches and such)
