All you non-golfers, listen up! Do you not know what the British Open is? I'll tell you, it is the oldest golf tournament in the world. Many pro golfers spend the entire year getting geared up for this, including Tiger Woods. Major Championships for these guys are the real deal. Majors are what separate the great from the good. It also puts your name on the same trophy as Nicklaus, Palmer, Player, Sarazan, Hogan, Varden, etc. These were the best during their time, and undoubtedly, Tiger is the best of his time. It is great to see an icon of our own to the world of golf. We should all applause him. Besides, he was crying because he just heard the news from Elin that she was leaving him for me, and not just because his dad is dead.

It was just an emotional finish to his 2nd consecutive British Open. That was also his first win after his father died. He was crying because his father will never see him win again. It wasn't anything big. It was just an emotional ending to a great round of golf.

Stop crying... Luckily it was Tiger, because you cant say one bad thing about him... He comes from a very solid upbringing and he just lost a big part of his world (passing of his father) when you think about it...

That only proves that he's just a human being like the rest of us. He usually doesn't show emotions and at times look remote. It must have meant a lot for him to win one for "Paps". He missed the cut at the U.S. Open and he kind of redeemed himself. He's just going to get better and better.
