Definition of Christian: One who believes Jesus is the son of God

Whoever says Catholics are not Christians need to wake up and get out from underneath the rock they're living under because obviously, we are.

are not
if by Christian you mean people who do not do anything Jesus did, then yes you are Christians.
Ok OK

calm down, don't take it so personally,
you are proving my theory about people who define who they are with their religion.
If someone attacks your religion, remember they are attacking a religion, not you,
God is more than big enough to stand up for himself.

A Christian is one who believes Jesus is the Son of the Living God. God come down from heaven to earth to dwell as a man (in human form) that he may learns the trials and temptations of man and better understand his ways.

A Christian is one who believes that Jesus will return again to take him (Christian) home to reign with Him for all eternity.

Christianity is a way of life, a one on one relationship with Jesus Christ.

A Christian denies himself to accept Jesus Christ as His personal Lord and Savior and lives according to the Word of God (Holy Bible)

If one truly believes in God and that Jesus is the Son of the Living God, then he is unashamed of Christ and shares the gospel with those he meets.

Yep, 'tis true: Catholics were the original Christians, at least as we define it in modern terms. (Gnostic Christians had a very different notion of Jesus than do his modern-day followers). Protestantism evolved out of Catholicism, not the other way around. Of course, they're all one step from a room with rubber walls, as far as I'm concerned.

I would say that not everybody who believes Jesus is the son of
God is a real BORN AGAIN christian! even the devil beleives Jesus is the son of God and he is no christian! and on that day Jesus says Be gone from I never knew you to a bunch of christains! so yes more is needed you need to be submitted to the HOLY GHOST AND HAVE HIM LIVING INSIDE OF YOU ! thats the difference, many say they believe but have not accepted the spirit of sonship! Many catholics have not!

.

To sum up what others have said previously ...

1) "retards", though a word of great exasperation, isn't full of that thing we call charity,

2) this isn't really a question, now is it? So, you have fallen short of the "perfect" use of this forum, now haven't you?

But, yunno, often our defects help illuminate, both to ourselves and to others, where the true light shineth. So, in that respect, you and all your fellow Catholics are Christians.

Of course Catholics are Christians: they believe in the Son of God, and so often fall short of His glory.

Praise be to the Lord our God.

Catholics also believe that you can get to heaven by being a good person, but this is very untrue.

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast."

The only way to heaven is by giving your life to Christ and believing that Jesus was sent to die on the cross for your sins and that he is the Son of God. YOU WILL NOT GET TO HEAVEN BY BEING A GOOD PERSON! The only way is through faith in Christ Jesus.
