The younger generation is definitely more open the to intermarrying than the older folks. The US military has been there for many years, and Im sure there have been many marriages because of that.
I'm actually engaged to a south korean, her siblings are very nice and cool about it, the parents are a little hesistant. They've never left the country.
So, each family will be different, but be understanding of the parents...

from what i know and what i see.
not really.
south koreans (living in s.kor) are very narrow minded.
people accuse for nothing.
like they probably married because she needed money,
or something, or else why would she have married a man
who you cant really have daily communication with, and such.
maybe they think like this, because they dont see much people
that are different from them
but koreans (living in us) they are more opened mined.
they adore half korean child... a lot...
and i havent really seen any issues... and all
just in case you didnt know, i lived in both korea and america.
so i know what i am talking about..
