It honestly depends on alot of things. It depends on what kind of color she used. My guess is its like manic panic and it will fade(sometimes faster than others). Dyes like Manic Panic which create the funky colors are made with metallic salts. Without getting to techno on you-it's hard for even a stylist to get out. Even the harshest removers we have won't take it completely out. ( I know from experince) Hopefully you keep your hair short and you'll be able to get it completely cut out in a month or two. In the mean time-Go With It! It probably looks awesome! It'll be even cooler when it grows out some and you have it on your ends and wear it kinda spiky.

If you just did it give it a few days-it'll fade. Try washing it a bunch of times with Dawn dish liquid-It'll help it fade faster.

If it last for six weeks, I guess just wait it out, or try to wash your hair a lot. Try using a clarifying shampoo, maybe that will help move it along a bit. Or you could go to a salon & see if they'd put color remover on it.

Whatever you do don't put dye over it, not by yourself anyways. If you're thinking about dying it out leave it to a professional, otherwise you may make a bigger mess of your hair

Wash your hair with "clarifying shampoo", it'll strip some of the color out. Most "crazy" hair colors like that are only semi-permanent, it should fade within a few weeks. If you're that concerned, just buy hair dye for men that is close to your natural color.

And keep your girlfriend away from your hair from now on, eh?

Ask her what she used? Some wash right out. If she used a double process (stripped the color from your hair and replaced it with blue) it's permanent. But, not so permanent that a local hairdressing salon can't fix for the right price.

I think you can always redye it black.

Good luck

Go directly to the beauty supply store and buy dye remover, then make sure you buy some dye in your original hair colour. The dye remover will remove ALL colour from your hair.

Dye it a different color or shave it..or i suppose you could wear a hat everywhere you go :-P ... you'd have to look on the container it came in to see how long it lasts.

Check and see if it is rinse or dye because if it's rinse, it'll wash out right away!! But if it's dye, it has to grow out! You can't wash dye out!
